Lone Star Mat Club has created a foundation to carry on our mission. At the Lone Star Mat Club Foundation, we believe that financial circumstances should never prevent a young athlete from experiencing the transformative power of wrestling. We’re dedicated to ensuring that any youth who wants to wrestle can do so—whether for recreation, pursuing a college education, or pursuing their dreams at national and world competitions
OUR STORY
The Lone Star Mat Club Foundation was established by individuals who came to America as refugees and experienced firsthand the generosity that made their American dream possible. Through the kindness of faith-based organizations such as Catholic Charities and countless fellow Americans, our founders received opportunities that changed their lives.
Today, they’re giving back by creating pathways for young wrestlers to excel without financial barriers. This foundation represents their commitment to paying forward the generosity they once received.
